Controller

Job duties and responsibilities

• As Controller, you will maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• In addition to implementing a system of controls over accounting transactions, the Controller identifies continuous improvement and efficiency opportunities
• The Controller will oversee the production of timely financial statements while ensuring the results follow GAAP and international financial reporting standards
• You will recommend benchmarks used to measure company performance
• As you produce the annual budget and forecasts, the Controller reports significant budget differences
• The Controller provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
• You will work with external auditors and provide necessary information for audits

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience working with GAAP requirements and CPA audits
• Experience in producing and analyzing financial statements
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
