Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for marketing, branding and communication strategies and tasks that promote a focused, consistent, and positive image of the company among internal and external stakeholders. This position will execute a strong digital marketing program, including innovative campaigns, content creation, event marketing, and more. You will be helping us spread the word about our existing products as well as new product acquisitions. You love creating impactful content, beautiful assets, delivering engaging stories across digital channels, and are interested about the opportunities within the medical device industry.

This position is based in Schoolcraft, MI with remote work flexibility and will report to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging content that drives leads and sales
  • Implement content strategy that develops leads and sees them through marketing and sales funnel
  • Create and distribute content across all digital channels (email, online advertising, social media, etc.), targeting our key audiences
  • Analyze campaign performance and prepare activity reports and metrics to measure program success with quantitative data on ROI and KPI metrics
  • Grow C2Dx brand visibility
  • Assist in the implementation of our brand strategy, ensuring our efforts work to support our customers
  • Facilitate and organize promotional events, for example, industry trade shows and educational events
  • Support sales team
  • Maintain directory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed
  • Develop product-related communications for sales representatives
  • Receive customer feedback and ensure it’s taken into consideration
  • Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership
  • Participate in corporate and product development
  • Support initiatives in new business development
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and market research
  • Organize insights and data from subject matter expert interviews, demand gen, sales and product teams, as well as industry trends

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years online marketing experience or similar experience
  • Experience with content marketing, mainstream social media, email marketing platforms, as well as CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication and editorial skills
  • Possesses a positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude, and is a team player
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail
  • Open to travel 35% of the time
