During minimally invasive balloon dilation procedures, the Cook Sphere Inflation Device can be used to inflate the balloon with fluid, to monitor the pressure in the balloon during the procedure, and to deflate the balloon after dilation.
The inflation device has a transparent barrel so that you can clearly see the contents and volume. It has an ergonomic design, allowing you to unlock with one hand, even when the device is at full pressure.
You can rapidly inflate or deflate your balloon, or you can flip a switch to engage the locking mechanism and make fine adjustments to the pressure.
The pressure gauge is visible in low light and displays pressure in atmospheric pressure (atm) and pound-force per square inch (psi). The gauge also indicates vacuum.
